Sergiño Dest is one of three Americans to sign with PSV in the summer of 2023. The winger, initially rented from FC Barcelona, will not have to wait long for his debut; just 2 days after signing his contract, he will make his appearance in the away match against Rangers FC. The Almere-born right winger is impossible to imagine leaving the starting line-up from then on. But after 37 matches for PSV, a serious knee injury threw a spanner in the works. Despite this, PSV takes him over from FC Barcelona in the summer transfer period.


Sergiño is an American international. He was trained by Ajax and also made his debut in the Johan Cruijff Arena at the age of 18. After one season in Amsterdam, Ronald Koeman brings him to FC Barcelona. There he plays 72 matches and wins the Copa del Rey.
