PSV won convincingly against Vitesse on Saturday night. Nevertheless, head coach Peter Bosz was not pleased with the first quarter of an hour afterwards. On the other hand, the coach had very nice words to say about Sergiño Dest. The left back himself can well explain why he is in such good form.
"Stijn Schaars still told me to take it easy, because they did their best. Only it wasn't good enough, even though we were leading 3-0. So then I say. We will have to play even more compact in phases. The defense has to dare to cover further forward, so that when the ball is lost you are on top of it. These are details, but they can still improve," said the Head Coach.
That said, Bosz is left with a good feeling from the win. "Every victory is a great feeling. That goes for all trainers at all places in the league table. So of course a happy man is sitting here." Meanwhile, he can also enjoy some great statistics. "The seventeenth clean sheet, almost a hundred goals ... these are things you pick up as you go along, but that doesn't make it any less special."

Where Bosz, was bothered by the first half, he enjoyed Sergiño Dest. "He has threat up front, but also sprints back just as hard. It's very nice that we have him in the team. At the same time, he also has plenty to learn, so I don't think he has outgrown the Eredivisie."
Sergiño concurs with his coach's words. "I can definitely continue to develop, but things are going really well at the moment. Especially in the one-on-one it goes nicely, then I also like a trick. I get a lot of minutes played and confidence here and I needed that. I'm a player who benefits tremendously from confidence."
'Could be unforgettable'
PSV have broken the 80-point barrier with the victory and are getting closer and closer to the championship. Sergiño is therefore aware that it could be a special season. "We have been on an upward trend from the beginning. I've heard how they celebrate in Eindhoven. This could be an unforgettable season."
