PSV took the three points in Deventer on Friday night, but it was by no means easy. Head coach Peter Bosz is happy that his team won the game, but saw that it could have ended differently.

"Go Ahead Eagles is a strong opponent. If you don't make the second, you know they are going to believe in it. The crowd gets behind it and then offensive momentum follows. I think it's a deserved victory, but it could have ended differently. They got a few more chances at the end, that's where they were for a while," said the coach, who felt the second yellow card for Obispo was unjustified. "You can't give a second yellow card for that. It really wasn't red."

Expectation pattern
Bosz saw an expectation pattern develop in the past week, which he does not quite agree with. "By now people expect us to win here, but it's not that easy. I think it's very special that we still haven't lost. That already makes it a special season." Meanwhile, he is looking forward to the return in the UEFA Champions League. "Nights like that are always wonderful. We play in a great stadium with a wonderful atmosphere, although I hope we can ruin it," jokes the practice master.

Sergiño Dest counts as the evening's matchwinner, he saw the game get tricky toward the end. "That was because we failed to score a second goal. This kind of match is part of it, you can't win them all easily." Receiving compliments for his actions early in the match, the back responded, "I wanted to test my opponent right away. If your first actions succeed, after that they run backwards."
