PSV O19 has beaten Arsenal FC 2-1 in London. The youth team thus wins the first group match in the UEFA Youth League and sets a good example for PSV 1, which plays Arsenal tonight at the Emirates Stadium.

Although PSV runs away with the final victory, it is Arsenal player Ethan Nwaneri who opens the scoring. Goalkeeper Niek Schiks does not allow himself to be passed again, and with some good saves he buys time for his teammates to do something back. With success, as Emir Bars shoots his team to equalize before halftime.

In the second half, PSV had the upper hand and Hale End's talents had little to contribute. Jason van Duiven took advantage of the dominance and does what he is known for: scoring. From a beautiful free kick, he sealed the first game in the UEFA Youth League with a victory.
