About us
PSV was the first football club in the Netherlands to explore the Esports domain. With Romal Abdi (now coach and Head of Esports at PSV), a journey of discovery began in 2016 that has led to a professional and stand-alone virtual football branch.
With Esports, PSV wants to permanently connect a target group to PSV. A target group that is no longer a member of our Kidsclub, but are passionate about football and gaming. The game we focus on should come as no surprise: EA SPORTS FC
Where we started with ideas, we have now built a large and loyal fan base. Over 80,000 young people follow PSV Esports on our social media channels. We employ several Esports players and are successful. This is proven by the title in the eDivisie and the World Cup title in 2018. Big brands commit (permanently) to PSV Esports. They too know that they can reach a new target group thanks to us.
