No-Show Scheme

The Philips Stadium is sold out almost every game, but because season-ticket holders do not always show up - a so-called no-show - there are often still empty seats. To encourage a full stadium and enable as many supporters as possible to attend a match, PSV gives season ticket holders the option to put their seats back on sale in case of no-show.

As of the new season, season ticket holders are expected to have their seats occupied at least 14 out of 17 Eredivisie matches or offered through resale. If there are too many, the holder will lose the right to renew the card the following season. The holder can regain eligibility through the waiting list. This no-show rule applies per relationship number. Certificate holders are excluded from the scheme.

When is a seat occupied?

  • If you are present yourself.
    • If you lent the place to another PSV supporter.
    • If the place is offered through resale, sold or not.

PSV is exploring the possibility of making the season ticket available digitally in the app during the 2024-2025 season, so that you do not have to lend out your physical season ticket. This will make it easier to pass on your season ticket for a single match to befriended PSV supporters.
