Mohamed Nassoh continues his football career next season at Sparta Rotterdam. The captain of Young PSV has an expiring contract. Mohamed's transfer is official as of July 1 of this year.

Mohamed Nassoh, born January 26, 2003, joined PSV Academy in 2010. After a successful run through all youth teams, he made his debut for Young PSV on April 19, 2021 during the 2-0 loss against De Graafschap. Mohamed has since played more than a hundred games in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. In those, he scored fourteen times and gave the same number of assists.

The attacking midfielder was not only deserving in the First Division. Last year, for example, he won the Premier League International Cup with Young PSV. The final of that prestigious international youth tournament was reached again last Tuesday. Young PSV won 3-2 against West Ham United U21, thanks in part to a goal by Mohamed. Although it did not yet come to an official debut in PSV 1, the 21-year-old technically gifted player played several practice matches for the main squad.

PSV grateful

Mohamed has nice words to say about the club where he grew up. "I am very grateful to PSV. I have played here all my life, so the club has become a part of me. That I am going to leave PSV now does something to me, but I know I can give that a place. I am enormously looking forward to popping into the Eredivsie with Sparta Rotterdam."

With 37 points from 29 games, Sparta Rotterdam currently occupies ninth place in the Eredivisie. PSV is proud that yet another player from the Academy is continuing his path in professional football. The club thanks Mohamed for fourteen years of loyal service and wishes him every success with the continuation of his football career.
