In the first home match in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, PSV took on Sevilla FC. Although PSV earned a point from the encounter thanks to a late goal, Noa Lang and Head Coach Peter Bosz were not satisfied.

"Given the course of the match, you should be happy with a point, but afterwards the boys were very quiet. That means they were not satisfied with the result. And rightly so, because we simply should have won here," the practice master told a packed press room.

Nevertheless, Peter also saw bright spots: "We played against a cunning team, but they couldn't prevent us from creating a lot of chances. So we are also doing something right." When a journalist asked him if the defense failed, the coach was clear: "We want to play forward football and that is very difficult for the defensive line. I think they did very well."

Man of the Match self-critical
Noa Lang was voted Man of the Match by UEFA. The wing attacker went on a huge number of dribbles and was regularly dangerous. Yet he indicated he was left with mainly a hangover from the game "I don't buy anything for it, because I didn't score a goal or give assists. It's nice that I pass them all, but I need to become more effective. I learn a lot from this kind of game."

PSV now has one point from two games, so Noa draws his conclusions: "We have to get going." Peter Bosz Meanwhile, analyzes RC Lens: "They have a good coach and a team that claps on it."
