PSV also managed to win its thirteenth Eredivisie game Saturday night. Peter Bosz 's formation had little trouble with FC Twente, which was soon down to one man. After the game, Joey Veerman indicated that he was surprised by the opponent's play.

FC Twente soon found themselves down to ten men due to a red card, yet Head Coach Peter Bosz does not take it for granted that PSV won. "They cite a reason every time, but we played thirteen games and won thirteen times. Against ten men hanging in front of their own goal you don't win just like that. We have a good team and show that every week."

More pressure expected
Goalkeeper and Man of the match Joey Veerman was surprised by the game of the Tukkers. "We expected them to put more pressure on us. Maybe they wanted to, but we just played football underneath them. Then you see that they start making mistakes and grab a red card." Joey then has to laugh as Bosz admires him for his goal. "It seems clever that I am so quick to get to the goal during a counter, but that was also because I joined in a little too late while defending."

Lozano & Bakayoko
Bosz also complimented Hirving Lozano and Johan Bakayoko. "I was worried beforehand about Hirving's fitness after he played 120 minutes for Mexico. Nevertheless, he did a fantastic job. He was very threatening which contributed to players having to stop him illegally. That earned them a red card," says Peter who saw Johan account for the third goal. "For a 20-year-old player, he is already very far. He is very gifted physically and technically. It's not surprising that a number of clubs wanted to acquire him this summer. Fortunately, he is making the right choice by staying with us.
