Fully in line with the previous two games, Peter Bosz was not pleased with his team's first half afterwards. Nevertheless, the head coach is also very pleased with his team. Especially debutant Jerdy Schouten received compliments from the coach.

"Our problem was that we played the long ball or ran with it too much," began Bosz who continued on a positive note, "That's not our game, but in the end I'm sitting here with a good feeling because we showed resilience. In the second half I saw a team that was very decisive and played good football."

Substitutions after halftime
With three substitutions, Bosz intervened heavily after halftime. One of the players who had to clear the field was André Ramalho, but the head coach takes his central defender in protection: "I hold André in high regard. He is a guy who wins his duels. Only today he had a lesser day. I therefore chose Jerdy who helped us by dribbling into the midfield."

Schouten
Bosz is very complimentary about the debut of the brand-new addition: "He has only trained with us a few times and probably does not even know all the names yet," laughed the Head Coach. "He's a player who plays every ball to the right color and that's harder than it looks. He's done a great job."
