Goalkeeper Walter Benítez injured his knee at training Tuesday afternoon. That same day he underwent successful surgery at Anna Hospital. Due to the injury, Walter is not employable for the time being.
The Argentine goalie came over from OGC Nice last summer. He defended PSV's goal in 35 matches this season. In ten games he kept the zero. Head coach Ruud van Nistelrooij still has goalkeepers Joël Drommel, Boy Waterman and Kjell Peersman.
