Eredivisie frontrunner PSV will train without a number of regular squad members in the coming week. Nine players have been called up for international football by national football associations, including Cody Gakpo and Joël Drommel. Armindo Bruma and Érick Gutiérrez dropped out of the final selection at the last minute.

Orange
Joël Drommel is one of three goalkeepers in Louis van Gaal's first selection. Drommel has been called up for Oranje for the first time and is aiming for his debut for the Dutch team against Norway (Sept. 1), Montenegro (Sept. 4) or Turkey (Sept. 7). Teammate Cody Gakpo, on the other hand, is aiming for his first starting place. The striker is on form with one goal and two assists in the first three games of this Eredivisie season. All matches of the Dutch national team start at 8:45 p.m. The match against Montenegro will be played at Philips Stadium.

A internationals
Ibrahim Sangaré, Eran Zahavi, Phillipp Mwene and Yvon Mvogo have also been called up for their homeland's A-team. Ritsu Doan has also been called up. The Japanese will play against Oman on Sept. 2 and China on Sept. 7.
