A dozen PSV players have been called up to the national team. For Joey Veerman and Walter Benítez, the call-up will be extra special. They may make their national debuts in the coming international period.

Xavi Simons and Joey Veerman have been called up by national coach Ronald Koeman. Xavi made his debut for Orange during the World Cup. Joey was called up last international period, but dropped out early. So he has yet to make his debut, which may happen in the Nations League semifinals. The Orange will then play Croatia.

Other A internationals
Ibrahim Sangaré, Phillipp Mwene, Johan Bakayoko and Walter Benítez received calls from Ivory Coast, Austria, Belgium and Argentina, respectively. A first for our goalie, he has not appeared for his country before. The current world champions will play on a friendly basis against Australia (15-06) and Indonesia (19-06). For Johan Bakayoko, it is his second call-up for the Red Devils. Earlier this year, he made his debut in the European Championship qualifier against Sweden. He crowned that moment with an assist.

Youth internationals
Ismael Saibari, Jarrad Branthwaite, Yorbe Vertessen and Fábio Silva received calls for the national promising teams of Morocco, England, Belgium and Portugal, respectively. Jarrad may thus make his debut for England U21.
