Hirving Lozano signed for the opening goal in a friendly game with Ghana on Sunday. He and several players from PSV's A-selection came into action for the national teams.

The outfielder last wore the shirt of 'El Tricolor' in March. On his return to the North American formation, he played a major role in the 2-0 win: the first goal came off his boot. With a signature move, 'Chucky' cut inside and slid the ball into the short corner past the Ghanaian goalkeeper. On Wednesday, Mexico awaits a friendly with Germany.

Joey Veerman Joey in Oranje
Whereas in his first two international matches for Oranje he came in as a substitute, on Friday he started in the starting lineup of national coach Ronald Koeman. The Dutch national team played a European Championship qualifier against France. Joey played the full ninety minutes, but lost the game 2-1. On Monday, the Netherlands plays a game against Greece, decisive in the fight for a ticket to the European Championship in 2024.

Belgium and Morocco
Johan Bakayoko no longer has to worry about whether or not his national team will qualify. He secured placement for the European Championship in Germany with the Belgian team by scoring a 3-2 victory over visiting Austria. Johan was substituted by national coach Domenico Tedesco in the 71st minute, but was brought back to the side after about 16 minutes following a red card from a teammate. The Belgian Red Devils return to action on Monday, in a group match against Sweden.

Ismael Saibari played with Morocco against the Ivory Coast of former PSV player Ibrahim Sangaré. The friendly encounter in Abidjan ended in a 1-1 draw. Ismael was brought in as a substitute in minute 77. Morocco is not out of football this week: a qualifying game for the Africa Cup against Liberia is scheduled for Tuesday.

Argentina and USA
Walter Benítez has been in the selection of Argentina's national team many times before, but is yet to make his debut. He saw his country, again as a reserve player, win 1-0 against Paraguay.

The U.S. team hosted Germany at Pratt & Whitney Stadium on Saturday. Sergiño Dest started in the United States' starting lineup and played the entire match, in which his country gave away a 1-0 lead and lost 3-1. Ricardo Pepi was substituted in the 66th minute. Whether the United States wins its second friendly game of the international break will become clear on Wednesday. Then the team will take on Ghana.
