It is with sadness that PSV has learned of the death of Theo Witsiers. He was involved with the club in various positions for many years. Witsiers died at the age of 87 in São Paulo, Brazil.
In the early 1990s, Witsiers served as treasurer of PSV. Earlier, as finance director of Philips in Brazil, he was closely involved in the arrival of Romário. He also served for several years as a board member of the PSV Football Foundation.
PSV is grateful to him for his work and commitment. The club wishes all family members and those involved much strength with the loss of Theo, who is forever included in the PSV family. We wish his loved ones much strength in the coming period.
