Robine Lacroix has signed her first professional contract with PSV. The 18-year-old midfielder is fixed until the summer of 2026. She is currently part of PSV's Young PSV Women, but already joins the A-selection regularly.
As part of Young PSV Women, Robine was involved in reaching the semifinals of the TOTO KNVB Beker last year. A season earlier, she became champion with the pledge team and this year is once again pitching for the title.
She not only impressed at PSV Academy, as she has already played 19 games for Oranje O19. Technical Manager Maud Roetgering is pleased that the young, talented football star has opted for a longer stay at PSV. "She is a player with an enormous running ability and she always leads the way. Because we trained her ourselves, she knows the club culture like no other. She knows what is expected of her and we believe she can deliver. She will get the space to further connect with PSV Women."
Milestones
For her part, Robine is incredibly proud that PSV wants to continue with her longer. "From the bench of Young PSV to basic player and training with the A-selection. My first contract is the next big step in my development. I hope it is only the beginning and that there are many milestones to come."
