Chimera Ripa has signed a contract until the summer of 2028. The 22-year-old striker cum midfielder came over from sc Heerenveen last season. She has since become a regular in trainer Roeland ten Berge.

In total, Chimera has already played 47 games in the PSV shirt. She scored fifteen goals and provided thirteen assists. She also scored particularly well as an international for the Dutch Junior Team. In 21 international matches for the national team she scored seven goals.

After Gwyneth Hendriks and Nina Nijstad, Chimera is the third player in a short time to extend her contract. "PSV is working on a project and that is alive and well within the group," she said, beaming. "I'm really looking forward to the next few years. PSV is for me the place where I can develop optimally. We play good and structured football and I believe we can win prizes. Only when we have medals of honor in our hands, I consider my period at PSV successful. And of course I also want to grow into an A international in the coming years."

Combination of technique and enormous drive
Technical Manager Maud Roetgering is pleased that everything is in place. "Chimera combines technique with an enormous drive. She is creative on the ball and also has scoring ability. Those qualities make her a very good and valuable player. She has already made tremendous strides over the past two seasons. We are very happy that she will also play for PSV in the coming seasons."
