PSV will travel to North Holland for an away game against FC Volendam over the carnival weekend. Peter Bosz saw a number of players return from illness ahead of the league match and is putting his squad on edge for the game.

"I expect Sunday a team that will do everything possible to stay in the Eredivisie," is how FC Volendam is analyzed. The Head Coach believes Sunday's opponent will go into the match with some tactical changes. "We saw that Ajax, FC Twente and Almere City had adapted. Our team is prepared for all scenarios and has to give maximum effort."

According to Bosz, there is no reason to underestimate FC Volendam and he is sending a clear message as a result. "I see no reason to spare my squad against FC Volendam. We have to go full steam ahead to win. The players also know that when you are in my squad you have to give everything."

Return
The sickbay has thinned out considerably ahead of the encounter with FC Volendam. "It's in good shape. Only Noa, Armel and Guus are not here." Armel is on the way back, he will participate with Young PSV tonight in the duel with FC Emmen. Jerdy Schouten, who had to go to the side earlier in the past few games because of a respiratory infection, is healed. "At training I was happy to see the old Jerdy again," he said.
