The first Cup game of the season was not the last; PSV won 3-1 at home against FC Twente. After the game, Head Coach Peter Bosz talks about how he experienced the game and why Joey Veerman dropped out just before kickoff.

"He was bothered by his calf. We didn't want to take a risk, so we replaced him with Malik Tillman. He did a great job again," said Bosz, who could not enjoy the game: "I can never do that during a game, because I mainly look where I can help the team. That's usually not in positional play. At training I can enjoy it though!"

At the press conference, Bosz was asked if he thought his team was sloppy at times. The Head Coach nuanced, "That was also because they took more risk towards the end. As a result, we came out dangerously twice and actually had to score both times." Next Wednesday awaits the eighth final against Feyenoord. Yet Bosz is not yet preoccupied with that match. "As always, we are focusing exclusively on the next game, and that is against FC Utrecht."
