PSV Women is one of the participants of the Eredivisie Cup this season. The team from Roeland ten Berge begins the knockout tournament against Ajax. The duel will be played on May 15 at 7:30 p.m. at De Toekomst.
The Eredivisie Cup is a competition with four participants: three period winners and the national champion. The ladies of FC Twente, Ajax and Fortuna Sittard complete the field of participants. This is the fourth edition of the tournament, which so far has only been won by Ajax and FC Twente (3x).
The Amsterdammers finished this season in second place behind national champions FC Twente. In league play, PSV Women played a draw at home (3-3) and narrowly lost the away game (2-1). The eventual final will be played on May 26.
