Sergiño Dest is one of three Americans who will sign with PSV in the summer of 2023. The wing-back, who was initially loaned from FC Barcelona, did not have to wait long for his debut; just two days after signing his contract, he made his appearance in the away match against Rangers FC. From that moment on, the Almere-born right-footer became an integral part of the starting line-up. But after 37 matches for PSV, a serious knee injury threw a spanner in the works. Despite this, PSV signed him permanently from FC Barcelona during the summer transfer window.

Sergiño has not played any matches in the 2024–2025 season, as the defender is still recovering from an injury.
Sergiño Dest is an American international. He was trained by Ajax and made his debut at the Johan Cruijff Arena at the age of eighteen. After one season in Amsterdam, Ronald Koeman brought him to FC Barcelona. There he played 72 matches and won the Copa del Rey.
