TenCate Stadium De Herdgang
TenCate Stadium De Herdgang is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and serves as a true showcase for PSV Academy. It is the home base for Young PSV, PSV Women and in the UEFA Youth League for PSV O19. In addition to two new permanent stands, new sanitary and catering points have been realized. A new accommodation for PSV Women was also realized, consisting of changing rooms, a players' home, office and meeting rooms. PSV is the first club in the Netherlands with its own wing for the women's branch.
New chapter
The new deal runs until mid-2029 and is a new chapter in a long-standing partnership. It started small with a single surface in what has now become the FieldLab at PSV Campus De Herdgang. TenCate was looking for a high-quality top sports environment to develop and test its football pitches. In this way we can validate new developments in practice, with players of all ages and levels, trainers and medical personnel. Thus, direct feedback was obtained from the players themselves. Feedback that was crucial in the development of TenCate's new generation of football turf, called Pure PT, which is now being played on football academies throughout Europe and beyond.
The renewed cooperation opens the door to more player data, performance analyses and feedback from coaches and medical staff, for both youth and women's teams. This creates a much sharper picture of how athletes and surfaces interact.
PSV brings with it a long tradition of talent development and innovation. PSV Campus De Herdgang is essential in PSV's efforts to attract talent from all over the world. Players who then move on to the world's most renowned football clubs and reach the absolute top there. The facilities, science and coaching at PSV Academy are what attract them.
Milestone in the club's history
