Press contacts
For PSV, good press contacts and a professional working relationship with the media are of great value, whereby the club will always strive for a pleasant cooperation. The Press Affairs & Communications Department is responsible for all contacts with press representatives and all PSV's internal and external communications.
DepartmentThe primary point of contact is Ard Bierens, PSV’s Manager of Communications & Media Relations, who is responsible for all media contacts regarding the organization and the Supervisory Board. Nick Tol is responsible for media matters concerning the first team and Director of Football Earnest Stewart. Dirk Arts is the point of contact for PSV Women and the PSV Academy. As Press and Media Coordinator, Suzanne Bertens is responsible for accreditation requests for PSV 1 and the organization of media-related matters concerning the first team.
Interview Requests
All interview requests for players from the first team, PSV U21, PSV Women, technical, coaching, and medical staff, the board of directors, club management, and PSV employees can be submitted via email, with a detailed explanation of your request. This also applies to requests regarding PSV Academy players and all of its coaches and staff members.
Press meetings
Press meetings (outside matches) are held when the club deems it necessary to openly disclose important information to all media representatives at the same time. Through a press release or press invitation to our press database, these press conferences are announced in advance. PSV also organizes a press conference on the last working day prior to each match. Here, the head coach or one of his assistants and the media have the opportunity to exchange views on the latest developments within and around the PSV squad. This press moment is open to both written press and audiovisual media. These meetings are held at PSV Campus De Herdgang. At all European home matches this press meeting, before the final training session, takes place at the Philips Stadium.
General Interview Guidelines
All interview requests for players, staff, and employees must be routed through the Communications & Media Relations department. It is not permitted to contact players, staff members, or other employees directly. Interviews must always be submitted to the department well in advance of publication for review and approval.
PSV maintains the position that interviews with youth players may only take place under supervision. Filming in the stadium
All media outlets other than the authorized broadcaster and club media are considered non-rights holders. Without written permission from both PSV and the authorized broadcaster, non-rights holders are not permitted to make recordings anywhere in the stadium (with the exception of post-match interviews in the mixed zone or during the press conference).
Recording at PSV Campus De Herdgang
It is not permitted to record matches at PSV Campus De Herdgang without written permission from PSV and any other authorized broadcaster. The recording of any other moving images on the campus must always be coordinated with the Communications & Media Relations department. This applies regardless of the equipment used, from professional cameras to smartphones (and everything in between).
