Ricardo Pepi is one of the first reinforcements for PSV in the summer of 2023. The American striker comes over from the German FC Augsburg, but is no stranger to Eindhoven: during his rental period with FC Groningen he already managed to score against PSV.From the beginning, his role is clear: grow in the shadow of Luuk de Jong and be ready when the team needs him. And he does. Pepi quickly impresses with his unprecedented effectiveness. Almost every substitute he crowns with a goal, and even as a base player he continues to hit the mark.

The 2024-2025 season comes to an early end due to injury, but his numbers speak volumes: 18 goals in 1100 minutes of play. An average of 1 goal per 61 minutes.
