Armando Mario Obispo, together with Cody Gakpo and Jordan Teze , form a famous trio that together progressed from youth training to the main squad. While his companions both gained a starting place and eventually left for top European competitions, Armando had to deal with injuries. In the 2019-2020 season, the central defender plays on a rental basis for Vitesse. In the following years, he makes more and more minutes in the main force of PSV, but injuries also keep him sidelined several times. At the end of 2024, he extended his contract until mid-2027.
