PSV Women won the practice match against HERA United. Shanice van de Sanden shot the team to a 2-0 lead, before Sara Thrige put the game into the final lock in the second half.
Van de Sanden scored twice
In the opening phase, PSV was dominant and it was Chimera Ripa who, via a tailored pass from Fenna Kalma, was put in scoring position. Unfortunately without success, as her effort flew over. Moments later it was Fenna herself who pulled the trigger, but she hit the goalkeeper. In the 33rd minute, PSV managed to reward themselves after Shanice finished off a well-crafted attack. Just before halftime, Shanice struck again. It was her first goals on behalf of PSV.
PSV expands lead
After a successful first half, PSV kicked off with five new names. One of those five managed to score after only ten minutes: Sara Thrige took the 3-0 for her account. After this goal red and white remained dominant, but for a while little was created. Just before time HERA managed to put Moon Biegel Esteves to the test, but the goalkeeper did not succumb and managed to prevent a counter goal with an excellent save. This ensured that PSV kept the score zero and the referee closed with a 3-0 final score.
