Bart Ramselaar will become a PSV player. The 20-year-old midfielder from Amersfoort successfully passed his medical examination and put his signature under a five-year contract this morning at De Herdgang. Ramselaar, born June 29, 1996, joins coach Phillip Cocu's squad today and immediately completes his first group training.

Trained at FC Utrecht
PSV is acquiring Bart Ramselaar from FC Utrecht, the club that took him into its youth training program in 2010 and with which PSV previously reached an agreement on the terms of a transfer. At FC Utrecht, Ramselaar quickly became known as a great talent. He went through all the senior youth teams there and made his debut in the Eredivisie against Feyenoord on March 1, 2015. In total, he played 41 league games so far, in which he scored 6 goals.

Effective at Philips Stadium
Last season Ramselaar did not miss a single FC Utrecht league game and already asserted himself at Philips Stadion. In the 3-1 league game won by PSV, he was responsible for the only Utrecht goal. In the cup game with PSV last season (3-1 win for FC Utrecht) he even scored twice in Eindhoven. Ramselaar is a multiple Oranje O19 and Jong Oranje international and was called up for the Dutch national team for the first time in May this year. However, due to injury, it did not come to a debut at that time.
