Peter Bosz and Ismael Saibari both agreed: PSV played a strong match. The head coach was satisfied with the game and saw that several players showed their qualities at their best. "That fresh energy was evident tonight," he said.

PETER BOSZ

How do you look back on tonight's game?
"Almere City put us under pressure, giving us little time in the build-up. Often you opt for the long ball or lose the ball, but tonight we played well underneath it. We did have some sloppy moments, but overall we played well. We built up calmly, were patient when necessary and managed to play well under pressure. This is the PSV I like to see."

What did you enjoy most tonight?
"From the energy the team exuded. Even when we lost the ball, we captured it back quickly. We gave the opponent little time and space and I am very happy that we kept the zero. I think we presented people with a great game."

How do you view Ismael Saibaris game?
"Ismael is a player who hasn't finished learning, because he has tremendous potential. That potential is really starting to come out now. If you look at his qualities, like how he turns away, you can see what kind of talent he has. He is learning better and better to use his technique when shooting, instead of just his strength. He's making great progress."

And to the match of Johan Bakayoko?
"He played a good match. Johan worked hard tonight, but on top of that he also showed his class. The goal he scored is insane. He looked for his opponent with every ball he got, I saw that freshness again."

ISMAEL SAIBARI

It was an easy night, wasn't it?
"I wouldn't call it easy, because we had to work hard. But scoring five goals and creating so many chances, that's obviously top notch."

101 games in PSV 1. What does that mean to you?
"I am very proud. That was one of my goals when I joined PSV. Now that I have actually played more than 100, I am very happy and proud."

The coach thinks you are playing better, both in training and in matches. How do you experience that?
"Yes, we are indeed playing better. We put pressure more effectively and also manage to get out from under pressure better ourselves, I feel that too. As a result, I also enjoy the game even more."

That was a beautiful pass from Schouten to you, right?
"Yes, that was a really great pass. I'm happy for him, another assist to his name."
