PSV will be without Kiliann Sildillia for the time being, as he recently sustained an injury. The 24-year-old defender is scheduled to undergo surgery soon. He is expected to make his return to the field toward the end of this calendar year.
“This news was, of course, a hard blow,” says Kiliann. “I was feeling better and better, looking forward to the coming months, and wanted to prove myself here. That makes this setback especially frustrating. At the same time, I’m mainly looking ahead. The surgery is the first step in my recovery, and I’m going to do everything I can to come back as strong as possible. I feel a lot of support from the club, and that gives me extra motivation to be back on the field later this year.”
