Yorbe Vertessen played his 100th game for PSV 1 against FC Utrecht. The striker, trained in PSV Academy, will be honored before the game with Almere City.

The 23-year-old Yorbe Vertessen came to PSV Academy in 2009, where he successfully progressed through all the youth teams. With both PSV O17 and O19 he became national champion. In 2019, he made his professional football debut with the U23 team. Just over a year later, then Head Coach Roger Schmidt had him make his debut with the main squad.

Since then he has played 101 matches, in which he has scored 18 goals. In ten goals he was a server. His most memorable moment in PSV 1 was undoubtedly the away match in the UEFA Champions League with Sevilla FC. The substitute Belgian forced an own goal and gave the assist on Ricardo Pepi's winning goal. Yorbe won with PSV once the TOTO KNVB Beker and twice the Johan Cruijff Schaal.
