Second Bronze Bull for Young
Kalezic received his award from technical manager Marcel Brands, who brought him to Eindhoven at the beginning of this season to take charge of PSV's pledges. For both men, winning a prize in the First Division is not an unknown phenomenon. Brands was named footballer of the year in the First Division in 1987 as a player of RKC and became champion with the club from Waalwijk at the end of the 1987-1988 season. Kalezic already won a Bronze Bull in the 2009-2010 season as trainer of De Graafschap and even received a Golden Bull as Best Coach of the Year at the end of that season after he became champion with the Superboeren.
Kalezic is now automatically nominated for the Golden Bull.
Nomination for the Golden Bull
The winners of the Bronze Bulls are automatically nominated for the Golden Bull award ceremony at the end of the regular season. This is an extra incentive for the best players, coaches and talents from the Jupiler League who are on their way to the top.
