While Marco van Ginkel swapped the Premier League for the Eredivisie, Luciano Narsingh took the opposite route. But they were not the only (former) PSV players to make a transfer. An overview of all PSV transfers this winter.
Winning with Van Ginkel
Even before the transfer market officially opened, PSV announced the arrival of an old acquaintance. Van Ginkel opted to rest last summer to recover from an old knee injury, but returned top fit and continued where he left off: winning with PSV. PSV won 88% of its duels since the start of last season with Van Ginkel in the team, compared to 63% without.
Narsingh immediately important
The arrival of Van Ginkel was offset by the departure of a number of players. After four and a half years at PSV, Luciano Narsingh earned a transfer to the Premier League. Yesterday he made his debut for Swansea City by dropping in half an hour before time. Narsingh was immediately important: with an assist on the decisive 2-1, he was partly responsible for his new club's victory over Southampton.
Standing ovation Jozefzoon
Florian Jozefzoon also had a good start at his new club. He left this winter for Brentford FC, which operates in the Championship. After his first seventy minutes in England, he left the field with a standing ovation.
Poulsen to Denmark
Simon Poulsen left PSV after a year and a half. The left wing defender signed for two years with Danish SønderjyskE, where he also began his professional career. Luiz 'Beto' da Silva left for Brazil's Grêmio. The last PSV transfer of the winter comes in the name of Gianluca Scamacca. The 18-year-old striker returns to Italy, where he will play for Sassuolo.
Return Koch, De Wijs rented
After a strong first half of the season with PSV U21, Jordy de Wijs was ready for minutes in the Eredivisie. He will be rented by Excelsior for the next six months. De Wijs has not missed a minute with the Rotterdammers since his arrival. Menno Koch on the other hand returned after a rental period at FC Utrecht where he did not get much time to play.

Promotion Hiljemark, Memphis plays again
A number of former PSV players also got a new destination this winter. Memphis had little opportunity to play at Manchester United. A year and a half after his departure from PSV, he left the English powerhouse for Olympique Lyonnais, where he has already played in three matches. Oscar Hiljemark made a step up in the Italian Serie A: he went from number nineteen Palermo to number fifteen Genoa. The Swede scored immediately for his new club in the 3-3 draw against Fiorentina.
Labyad and Farfán find club
In addition, Zakaria Labyad found shelter at FC Utrecht after six months without a club. Jefferson Farfán was also without a club for a while. The Russian Lokomotiv Moscow contracted him until the end of the season.
