PSV O19 earned a point from the game with the peers of SSC Napoli. In doing so, the team did itself wrong, as it was the superior side in everything. PSV is now in a virtual seventeenth place with four points.

The intentions of Vincent Heilmann 's formations were clear from the start; put the Italian visitors under considerable pressure. The first chance resulted from that in the fourth minute. Sami Bouhoudane, normally ice-cold in his finishing, misjudged the ball and his effort went wide. For their part, Napoli relied mainly on quick counters. Raffaele Saviano had the best chance, but goalkeeper Stijn Kuijsten was just as sharp as his colleague at the other end of the pitch.

PSV O19 remained the dominant side in the second half and in fact it seemed a matter of time until the 1-0 would fall. Not until Amir Bouhamdi was sent off with a red card ten minutes before time did it become clear that the home team might have to settle for a draw. Nevertheless, substitute Austyn Jones had the biggest chance of the match in injury time. One-on-one with the goalkeeper, he failed to score.
