PSV youth player Sekou Sidibé has been named Eindhoven's Talent of the Year. The 15-year-old Belgian has been playing in PSV's youth academy for six years and regularly competes with teams of a higher age category.
Debut
This season he made his debut in PSV's O19 in the UEFA Youth Champions League match against Atlético Madrid. He also plays in the Belgian national youth squad. Other nominees were field hockey star Lisa Post (17) and swimmer Nyls Korstanje (17).
Sports Team of the Year 2016
The award for Sports Team of the Year 2016 did not go to PSV. It had competition from two other Eindhoven national champions: the men's hockey team Oranje Zwart and PSV Swimming. The field hockey men were eventually voted team of the year.
