Eloy Room is under contract with PSV for the next two seasons. The 28-year-old Nijmegen native transfers immediately from Vitesse, to which former PSV goalkeeper Remko Pasveer transferred this summer.
Vitesse
Eloy Room comes from the youth training program of Vitesse, where he proved to be a reliable first goalkeeper in recent seasons. He made his debut on behalf of Vitesse in 2009 and played over 150 games for the Arnhem-based premier league side until last season. Room was briefly loaned to Go Ahead Eagles, where he kept 22 matches.
International
Room has played international matches in the past for various youth teams of the KNVB, including the Dutch Junior Team. It did not come to a debut in the Dutch national team. However, Room is an international of Curaçao On June 6, 2015 Room made his debut in the Curaçao football team in the 1-0 won friendly match against Trinidad and Tobago. Last summer, Room won the Caribbean Cup by beating Jamaica 2-1 in the final. He has so far played 17 international matches for the island.
