PSV 1 was named best sports team of Eindhoven. Our main force received the honorary title during the Eindhoven SportAwards 2024. PSV U21 Women and PSV Synchronized Swimming were also nominated for the title Sports Team of the Year.
2024 was already a year to remember for PSV, and this achievement has now been officially awarded the title Sports Team of the Year. Head coach Peter Bosz, Director of Football Affairs Earnest Stewart and winger Sergiño Dest received the award.
Our A-selection overwhelmingly became national champions and broke record after record. For example, the first seventeen league games were won and the club record in points was broken. Due to the exceptional results, head coach Peter Bosz was nominated for Sports Coach of the Year, but that title passed him by.
PSV U21 Women
PSV U21 Women attended the gala with the entire selection. Coach Mark den Brok's team achieved historic results. They won the national title without playing a final match. The team won both the spring and autumn competitions. This season, the team continues that strong run, as PSV U21 Women again became winter champions.
The excellent performances also translate into a flow of young talent to the A-selection. In the league match against Excelsior no less than three players made their debuts: Tess van der Vliet (16), Annisa Chibani (18) and Bente Vermeer (18).
