Phillip Cocu (55) will join PSV full-time as Manager Topsport on December 1. In this role, the former player and former coach of the Eindhoveners will be primarily responsible for the advancement of the biggest talents of PSV Academy in the age of 17 to 21 years to the selection corps of head coach Peter Bosz.
Cocu will focus mainly on what it takes to succeed as a talent at PSV. With his surplus of experience, Cocu, born in the Eindhoven district of Tongelre, is the ideal man for the vacant position. Cocu will set up a talent program in which the club's top sports philosophy is central. Guiding rented talent is also one of the tasks the midfielder with more than 100 international matches behind his name will take on.

"Phillip is a club legend who knows the ropes and knows from his own experience what it takes to succeed at PSV. We are extremely happy to have him back with us."
