Peter Bosz has been named Rinus Michels Trainer of the Month for April. The head coach led PSV to three wins from three matches during this period. It was also the month in which the club secured its 27th national title.
PSV began April with a spectacular 4-3 win over FC Utrecht, a result that was enough in the same round of play to clinch the championship, its third national title in a row. The team then won 2-0 at Het Kasteel over Sparta Rotterdam and convincingly defeated PEC Zwolle 6-1 at Philips Stadium.
For Bosz, it is the first time he has received the award. The election for Rinus Michels Trainer of the Month was introduced this season and is awarded based on data.
