Lisan Alkemade has extended her contract with PSV Women. The goalkeeper has put her signature under a new contract that commits her to the club until mid-2027.
The 22-year-old Lisan began her football career at FC Lisse and, through the CTO Zuid development program, moved on to PSV, where she has been a member of the women’s team since 2019. The goalkeeper is known for her quick reflexes and reliability in one-on-one situations.
In 2021, Lisan made her debut for PSV during the battle for the Eredivisie Cup against PEC Zwolle (5-1). In the same year, she extended her contract for two seasons. A year later, another extension followed until mid-2025. So far, Lisan, who hails from Lisse, has played 47 matches for PSV Women. She also played several times for the Dutch Junior Team.
Manager Women's Football Sandra Doreleijers is very happy that Lisan has signed on. "There are few goalkeepers who already have as much match experience and personality as Lisan at the age of 22. Last season she played very little, but you will never hear her complain. On the contrary: she supports the team like no other. We can rub our hands together that she wants to stay with us longer."
Lisan is only too happy to do so. "I am super happy of course that I will stay here longer. It is a vote of confidence. I see it as a reward for hard work," the goalkeeper said.
