Historic site
Under the watchful eye of several hundred supporters, former PSV president Harry van Raaij unveiled the plaque at exactly 7:13 p.m. "At this historic spot a hundred years ago the Philips Sport Vereniging was founded. PSV has brought a lot to Eindhoven. I therefore sincerely hope that the Eindhoven municipality will maintain this plaque with great care."
The unveiling was performed by Harry van Raaij.
Unity makes power
Mayor Rob van Gijzel promised to treat the plaque with care. "I am extremely pleased that the founding of our PSV has been recorded in such a way. I know that the 1913 foundation has been working on this for years. I am therefore pleased that hundreds of supporters have contributed to the result by transferring a sum of 19.13 euros. Unity makes power, a phrase from the club song that is perfectly expressed here. Together we stand strong. Together we stand behind our PSV."
