Just 3 days after the defeat against FC Eindhoven, Stijn Schaars ' team visited De Vliert for the away match against FC Den Bosch. PSV U21 had a difficult opening phase and saw the home team calling the shots. In the second half FC Den Bosch started well and it did not take long before Niek was put to the test. However, the goalkeeper was alert and kept the damage limited with some good saves. After this phase PSV U21 became stronger and Stijn Schaars ' team dominated the game. In the 65th minute, PSV U21 came close to an equalizer and Fabio Kluit put the ball in front of the goal with a tailored cross. However, Sami Bouhoudane headed the ball just over and the score remained unchanged. After this opportunity, PSV remained on top, but failed to reward themselves.
