PSV U21 convincingly defeated Helmond Sport. The promising team won 4-0 with four different goal scorers. Extra special: for Fabio Kluit, Fabian Merién, Sol Sidibé and Manuel Bahaty it was their first goal for PSV U21 in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. In addition, goalkeeper Khadim Ngom made his official debut under the crossbar.

Stijn Schaars ' team started strongly and opened the score early. A sharp cross from Amir Bouhamdi was just missed by Nicolas Verkooijen , after which 19-year-old Fabio Kluit reacted alertly and worked the ball into the net. PSV U21 immediately showed with which intentions they started the match: secure the three points. A few minutes later the 2-0 followed. Amir Bouhamdi initially hit the post, but Fabian Merién was sharp in the rebound and scored his first goal in professional football. PSV U21 dominated the first half with plenty of ball possession in Helmond Sport's half and a high tempo. The pledges created plenty of chances and could have even extended the score further, but went into the break with a 2-0 lead.

Second half
After halftime Helmond Sport tried to put more pressure to get something back from the deficit, but PSV U21 remained solid defensively. Robin van Duiven was dangerous several times with free kicks and header chances, but a third goal was still some time away. Sol Sidibé crowned a strong match with the 3-0, his first league goal in the PSV shirt. The final chord was for Manuel Bahaty, who played a pass from captain Wessel Kuhn to make it 4-0.
