PSV U21 secured their first three points of the season. The mini-Lichtstadderby was a match with two completely different faces. The promise team was lord and master in the first part, but got into trouble in the second half after a red card.
Lord and master
The first big chance of the match was for FC Eindhoven, which tried to test Vincent Müller via a volley. Yet it was PSV U21 that took the lead. Via a placed shot, Fodé Fofana passed former PSV player Nigel Betrams. A minute later, Jeremy Antonisse came close to scoring his second goal. However, his effort was turned away. Just before half-time Mohamed Amin Doudah, who scored his first goal in professional football, gave PSV U21 a 2-0 lead.

Promise started where it left off: combination football. In the 53rd minute, a goal resulted when Fofana scored his second of the evening. Then things took a turn for the worse. It eventually led to a second goal in the 84th minute, but that was all. PSV U21 took their first three points of the season and climbed to 11th place.
