In the last matches of the international period, several PSV players managed to achieve success with their national team. For example, Esmir Bajraktarević shot the decisive penalty against Italy, allowing Bosnia and Herzegovina to qualify for a World Cup for the second time in history. Matěj Kovář was also important for his country, qualifying for a World Cup with the Czech Republic for the first time since 2006.

Bosnia and Herzegovina
Earlier in this international break, Esmir Bajraktarević won with Bosnia and Herzegovina against Wales via penalty kicks, making it to the final round for World Cup qualification against Italy yesterday. In this match, the differences were small and the score was still tied after 120 minutes of play. In the penalty box series, Esmir claimed a leading role after he was decisive from the spot and gave his country a ticket to the World Cup.

Czech Republic
Matěj Kovář also played the final match with his national team for a ticket to the World Cup. In this match the Czech Republic faced Denmark and again after 120 minutes of play it was still undecided. Like against Ireland, Matěj was decisive in the penalty shootout and the goalkeeper only let through one ball, allowing the Czech Republic to qualify for the World Cup.

Oranje
Jerdy Jerdy Schouten came into action twice for the Dutch national team during this international period. The midfielder won 2-1 against Norway last Friday, but yesterday he played 1-1 against Ecuador in the Philips Stadium. In Eindhoven, Jerdy was on the pitch for ninety minutes.

Austria
Paul Wanner made his debut for Austria this international period. Having previously played for Germany at the European Under-21 Championship, the attacking midfielder is now a permanent international of the Austrian national team. With his national team, Paul managed a 5-1 win over Ghana and South Korea was defeated 1-0.

Morocco
The Atlas Lions were in action twice during this international period. Morocco played a 1-1 draw against Ecuador and Ismael Saibari and Anass Salah-Eddine's team won 2-1 against Paraguay.

United States
Also scheduled for the United States were these two games in this international break. In Team USA's first game, Ricardo Pepi gave one assist, but lost 2-5 to the Red Devils; in the second game, the United States struggled again, losing 0-2 to Portugal.

Curaçao
In the FIFA Series, The Blue Wave did not have an easy time and did not manage to get a result. Fred Rutten's team lost 2-0 to China and host country Australia was 5-1 too strong.

Croatia
Ivan Perišić played two practice matches in America against Colombia and Brazil during this international period. Against Colombia Croatia managed to win 1-2, but against Brazil Croatia had a harder time and lost 1-3.

Romania
Dennis Man experienced a difficult international period, in which Romania suffered a narrow defeat against Turkey and therefore no longer had a chance at the World Cup. After this game, Dennis played an exhibition match against Slovakia that ended in a 2-0 defeat.

Jong Oranje
The promising team played two matches against the peers of Norway and Belgium during this international break. Last Friday, Jong Oranje went down in the qualification for the European Championship in Norway and lost 3-2. On Monday, the Young Orange played again and recorded a 2-1 victory over Belgium. Niek Schiks played the full second half in this practice match.

Spain O21
Yarek Gąsiorowski had a successful international period in which he netted twice. With Spain's promising team, the defender won 0-7 over Cyprus and Kosovo was defeated 2-0.

Belgium O19
Noah Fernandez played a triptych of matches on behalf of Belgium in qualifying for the European Championship. In these matches, Belgium O19 achieved several results. The Belgian youth team won 1-0 against Denmark, drew 0-0 against the Czech Republic and went down 2-1 against their peers from Latvia.
