Nine players from PSV Women and two from PSV U21 will play next week for a national (youth) team. Veerle Buurman and Renate Jansen have been called up for the OranjeLeeuwinnen and another four players are playing for the Jong Oranje.
The Dutch team will play Austria on April 4 and 8 for the UEFA Women's Nations League. These are the third and fourth matches of the group stage. The Netherlands collected four points in the first two duels. Austria has three. With Veerle and Renate, PSV provides the most players of all premier league teams.
With four delegates, PSV Women also provide a large share in the selection of PSV U21. Lisan Alkemade, Emma Frijns, Nina Nijstad and Fleur Stoit will play a friendly match against Germany on April 4. Depending on the result, it will meet Italy or Norway on April 7. Anissa Chibani is part of Orange O19.
Belgium
Nicky Evrard has, of course, been called up again for Belgium. The experienced goalkeeper, who was important with her saves in the 1-0 win over AZ, plays twice against England in the UEFA Women's Nations League. Lore Jacobs has been called up for Young Belgium.
Sara Thrige also plays with Denmark in the Nations League. The defender will meet Wales and Italy. Dania Boussatta plays for Young Morocco.
