PSV Women conquers Champions League ticket
The PSV Women showed resilience Sunday afternoon by beating brand new champion FC Twente 2-1. Exactly one week earlier, coach Rick de Rooij's team had lost its chances at the championship. The victory secured the second place and a Champions League ticket. Next Saturday the season can still be crowned with honors. Then awaits ADO Den Haag in the cup final.

Nouwen and Smits say goodbye
With the cup final still to come, Joëlle Smits and Aniek Nouwen said goodbye to PSV on Sunday afternoon. Smits, the club's all-time leading scorer, is leaving for VfL Wolfsburg and Nouwen is going to Chelsea. In a double interview with ESPN, they comment on their upcoming departures. "PSV is in my heart. I spent five years here, so it's very nice that we can close with public," Nouwen said. Smits nods, "I've always felt at home here."

Kristinsson Impressed by PSV
For Kristófer Kristinsson, his loan stint with PSV has already come to an end a few weeks ago. In an interview with Grenoble Foot, the 22-year-old forward says he looks back fondly on the season in which he became the club’s top scorer with eight goals. The Icelander also trained with the first team a number of times and was, to put it mildly, impressed: “What talent plays there! I was impressed. The level was very high. There’s no room for mistakes in training.”
