Eus Waayers (18) and Boet Mulders (17) made their debut in professional football on Monday night. At PSV Campus De Herdgang, Eus started at the kick-off of the game between PSV U21 and sc Cambuur (1-4). Boet entered the lines in the 85th minute.
The duo are still part of PSV O19 and were thus visible during the UEFA Youth League and Otten Innovation Cup. Both were already in action on behalf of PSV U21, during the Premier League International Cup. Now their official debut in professional football will follow.
A right back by trade, Eus started at PSV Academy's F'jes in 2013. Since then he went through the entire youth academy. In 2023, he signed his first professional contract, binding him to PSV until the summer of 2026.
Seventeen-year-old Boet joined the O9 of PSV Academy ten years ago. Here he first made minutes as a defender, but in the years that followed he developed into a multifunctional midfielder. Last season Boet made his debut for PSV U21 in the PLIC match against Blackburn Rovers. In 2024, Boet signed his first professional contract, which commits him until the summer of 2026.
