Noah Fernandez has signed a new contract. As a result, the 18-year-old midfielder from the club's own youth academy will remain with PSV until mid-2030. In addition, the born Belgian has officially been added to the main squad.

Noah has been part of the club for eleven years. Since PSV Under 9 he went through all youth teams. So far this season, the Belgian youth international is experiencing highlight after highlight, including his official debut for PSV U21 and PSV 1. He also made his first minutes in the UEFA Champions League, in his own Philips Stadium against Bayern Munich. In the cup match against GVVV Fernandez delivered his first assist in the service of PSV 1.

"I'm having a dream season for now, with this contract extension as icing on the cake," Fernandez said after the signing ceremony at PSV Campus De Herdgang, in the presence of his loved ones. "PSV has really become my club over the years. I feel the confidence in my qualities and potential from all levels. I want to thank everyone who has contributed to my development: from family members and friends to material men and trainers. And although I have been at this club for 11 years, hopefully this is only the beginning. I intend to achieve many more unforgettable successes with PSV 1."

Director of Football Affairs Earnest Stewart describes Fernandez's contract extension as a success story out of the book, given the trajectory of the club's talent. "With Noah we once again reward a promise from our own Academy who has developed step by step and shows he is ready for the next phase," Stewart explained. "Noah is a player who combines technical skill with game intelligence, guts, a refined kick and great learning ability. We are confident he will continue to develop into at least a regular for PSV 1 in the coming years."
