It is a sunny afternoon in the autumn vacations when the doors of PSV Campus De Herdgang open for young fans. Members of FC PSV imagine themselves to be journalists during the children's press conference. The young fans can ask four PSV Women players questions.
Journalist for a day
An hour before the interview with the players, the first children arrive with their parents. Time enough for a walk over the renewed PSV Campus De Herdgang. A quick picture of the main field and a cup of coffee at Grand Café De Herdgang. Then it's time for the press conference.
Before the players arrive, press officer Thijs Slegers greets the young fans; he will keep an eye on them. The children are of course also allowed to ask him anything they want. About thirty FC PSV members fill the chairs of the press room. When the players are almost there, Slegers initiates the PSV club song and all the children sing along at the top of their voices. The doors open and there they are: Dana Foederer, Katja Snoeijs, Kayleigh van Dooren and Aniek Nouwen. They take on the children's fire of questions.

Question Fire
As soon as the press conference begins, the children eagerly grab notebooks and phones from their pockets. In these they have written down their questions. PSV fan Jari kicks off, wanting to know what Foederer wanted to be when she was little. The answer to this was resoundingly "professional football player!". Later the discussion immediately breaks out about who the players like better: Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi. There is a lot of laughter and children can't wait to question their football heroines further.
Nouwen talks at length about her diet before a match, Foederer shares her big dream of one day playing for FC Barcelona and Van Dooren says Mohamed Ihattaren is a big inspiration to her. Some fans brought lists of dozens of questions. The interview goes on and on, but the players quietly take their time to answer everything.
PSV Dream Team
Jelle, a young supporter, asks who among the PSV men the women would like on their team. Nouwen would like to have the help of Denzel Dumfries as a defender. Van Dooren would feel secure with Jeroen Zoet in goal. Snoeijs, as a striker, is very impressed by Érick Gutiérrez's passes, and Foederer himself would like to give such passes and crosses to Donyell Malen.
The PSV players talk at length about their best friends, teammates, memorable matches and give many tips to the children. "Train every day, work hard, give everything and have a lot of fun in football," is what Foederer gives as a tip for becoming a good football player. "If you have a bad left leg, you can practice by shooting against the wall a hundred times with your left leg. You have to try really hard," Van Dooren adds. When the players are asked which club they used to be fans of, most of them wholeheartedly say "PSV!", except for Amsterdam's Snoeijs, who skips the question for a moment.
Autographs and photos
When the fans are allowed to ask their final questions, many fingers go up in the air. Some can barely contain their enthusiasm but everyone waits nicely for their turn. When the last questions were asked, there was of course time for pictures and autographs.
Of course, a selfie should not be missed
Finally, there was time for an extensive tour of PSV Campus De Herdgang. In the dressing rooms, the canteen, the equipment room and near the field. Visitors were allowed to take a look everywhere. Upon returning to the press room, a surprise was waiting: a PSV flag and tickets to a PSV Women's match. Afterwards it stayed cosy for a while in Grand Café De Herdgang and the supporters could look back on a nice afternoon in their autumn vacation.
