Record 41 times

The board of directors of every club that takes part in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League traditionally receive a plaque as ‘Club Partner’ of Europe’s football government in recognition of their participation in a European competition. The plague is usually presented ahead of an official lunch or dinner party attended by representatives of both clubs. PSV always welcome their guests in Avant-Garde in the Philips Stadium. On behalf of PSV, Manager Match Affairs Ron Verkerk received the plague. PSV would like to thank the UEFA and hope for a good campaign and a season long fair-play football. PSV have received thirteen Champions League and six UEFA Europa League plaques so far. They qualified for European football for the first time in 1974 and have competed in European competitions ever since. PSV are the only side to have competed for a record 41 times in succession in a UEFA competition.
